He noted that the opposition party, SDP, were always involved in gruesome killings in the state, especially in Koton-karfe and other part of the state before, during and after Governorship election but said surprisingly, the security did not arrest Murtala Ajaka and his deadly gangs.
Hon. Kamar also emphasized that recent events in Kogi regarding election litigations witnessed the opposition party, SDP threatening, harassing INEC commissioner, Police commissioner, other security agencies, judges, and undermining the judiciary.

The tribunal secretary was busy doing the dirty business of the opposition party, SDP and it’s violent group.
” The secretary forgot the fact that the world has become very technical and confirmation of payment via Remita is just a click away. All the material facts before us is that no payment via Remita platform by the SDP before the expiration of the legally stipulated filing period. He can be compromised but he can’t compromise Remita, he stressed.
“We are calling on the authorities to interrogate the secretary of the kogi state governorship tribunal panel to ask why he decided to take the documents to his private residence, instead of him keeping them at the court registry.
The KDK, Hon. Kamar further said, according to the provision of section 134 of the Electoral Act, the SDP has no petition before the panel. The party might have a petition with the secretary which was given to him, ostensibly on Monday, 4th December, 2023.
