Eid-el-Fitr: Kogi First Lady Urges Muslims To Sustain Ramadan Virtues

The Kogi first lady, Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo, has urged the Muslim faithful to adopt and sustain the lessons learnt during the Ramadan fast as a lifestyle.

Mrs Ododo gave the advice in her felicitation message to the Muslim faithful in the state on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr celebration on Wednesday in Lokoja.

The first lady congratulated Muslims on completing the Ramadan fast and urged them to hold on to the lessons learnt during the holy month.

“The resilience and patience demonstrated during Ramadan is a sacrifice that will be met with proportionate blessings from Allah,” she said.

She promised her commitment to continue to champion effort towards improving the plight of women, children and the vulnerable citizens in the state.

The first lady expressed optimism that the administration of His Excellency, Governor Usman Ododo, would work hard to deliver on the campaign promises to the people of the state.

“As we celebrate Eid, let us extend a helping hand to the less privileged.

“May the Eid celebration be a time for love, modesty, and support for those in need.” She added.

The First Lady also called on Muslims to intensify prayers for the state, nation, and its leaders.
