Local government Councils’ workers in Kogi state have collected their April salaries in  100%, as against percentages payment over a period of almost ten years

Recall that the previous government of Captain Idris Ichala Wada was the initiator of percentage payment of workers in the third thiers of government , including that of pensioners in the state because of alleged paucity of funds to effect full payment of salaries of all workers in that organ of government.

That trend continues until the present administration of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman broke the jinx in view of the fact that monthly allocations to the state has improved significantly presently under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Effort to confirm the payment of a hundred percent from the President, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Comr Tade Adeyemi failed as he could not be reached. Other officials of Government from the Ministry of Local Government however confirmed the full payment of salaries from the last 80% for workers and 85% for Pensioners.

True, Kogi is working.Ododo is working with a human face according to an aide of Gov. Ododo.

According to him, “Expect more goodies in the 100 days in office of the ever dynamic and responsive governor, Alhaji Ododo which comes up next week”.

According to him, Gov. Ododo”will serve the people better with all the nitty gritty of the momentous promises he made in the life of his administration”.
