* Hails Gov’Ododo, Dep. Gov.’s Support for Council.
The Secretary of Omala Local Government Transition Committee, Hon. Simeon Omale has commended the efforts of the Transition Committee Chairman, Hon. Edibo Ameh Mark in tackling security challenges in the area.
In a statement signed by the Secretary, he said “Hon. Edibo has shown capacity and determination on several occasions to restore absolute security to the area”.
“Of particular worth to mention is the recent step taken by the Chairman where the two warring camps of Omagede and Patanyi met at the instance of the Chairman, as both camps agreed to sheath their swords and regretted lost of lives and properties during their moments of wrangling and battling”.
“I seize this time to call on the general public to give the Chairman maximum cooperation to drive the vehicle of peace to its safe destination as evidence has shown that his courageous steps are already yielding results as peace is speedily returning to Omala Local Government”.
Hon. Simeon hailed the support the council has received from the state Governor, His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo, his Deputy, His Excellency, Joel Oyibo Salifu, political office holders, public and private donor agencies. Adding that the robust partnership and supports are big boost to the superb actions of the Chairman.
