The Executive Chairman of Omala LGA, Hon Edibo Peter Ameh Mark visited LGEA primary School Bagana,Omala LGA of Kogi State to deliver the goodwill message of Hydro Electric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC) who donated learning materials to the school.
Hon Edibo delivered to the pupils of Bagana LGEA Primary School; Tablet Phones, School Bags, Maths Set, Exercise Books, Solar Learning lites, Erasers Tables and Chairs to ease their learning.
Hon Ibrahim Yakubu, the Senior Special Assistant on Education to the Executive Chairman poured out his joy as he said he was happy that schools are back to function in Bagana.
He said the learning materials were given to the school but due to the crisis it was kept under the care of the Chairman and today they were happy that peace has returned to Bagana and the Children are full of joy to be back to school.
In his transparency, the Chairman was there to make sure the materials get to the pupils of LGEA Primary School, he was there so he can personally hand them over to the students.
- He finally thanked HYPPADEC for their benevolence and their value for education stating that this materials will definitely ease the Children to study with ease and to alleviate the unnecessary pressure the parents and guardians will go through to get their wards the materials due to the financial challenge they are facing because of the crisis that befell the zone.
Hon Edibo cautioned the teachers to take their duty seriously as they will be sanctioned if they default, he also promised to post more teachers to the school.
