Omala Joint Task Force under the supervision of Hon. Edibo Peter Ameh Mark, the Chief Security and Executive Chairman, Omala LGC has allegedly neutralized one gun tottling herder , while others sustained bullet wounds who have been terrorizing the people of Agojeju Odoh and Ajokpachi Odo in the Northern part of Omala Local Government Area.
The gunmen met their Waterloo when the troops on patrol of Bagaji Odoh to Ajokpachi Odoh on Friday 26/9/2025, came under heavy gun attack by Fulani herders, however, the JTF troops responded swiftly with superior fire power killing one gunman while two other Gunmen fled in disarray into the bush with gunshot wounds .
While the troops pursued the fleeing Gunmen into the forest, aimed at smoking out their accomplices, without further challenges before making detour to Agojeju Odoh.
Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman, Hon Edibo Mark vowed to leave no stone unturned until peace is fully returned to the villages.
He called on the locals to remain calm and report unholy movement of persons especially those with bullet wounds who will seek treatment from medicine practitioners to law enforcement officers.
