Red Alert: Sunday Karimi Media advocates unmask plans to pass vote of no confidence on kogi west senator.

 

As the no love lost between the kogi state government and senator representing kogi west, Sunday Karimi deepens, the Media advocates has disclosed that it has unmasked plans to hoodwink newly elected APC ward chairmen to commence process of passing vote of no confidence on senator Sunday Karimi.

The media advocates of the distinguish senator made the disclosure in a press statement made available to Newsmen on Thursday in Lokoja.

The statement alleged that an Executive Chairman of a Local Government Area in Okunland had summoned the newly elected Ward Chairmen across the 15 wards of the Local Government and directed them to pass a vote of no confidence on Senator Sunday Karimi.

 

The statement added that the move to declare no confidence vote on the senator was leaked to the Media office by one of the Ward Chairmen who claimed that the directive came from the Governor of Kogi State.

 

According to the statement, While we consider this development a needless political drama that is clearly at variance with the verifiable achievements of Senator Sunday Karimi in the said Local Government Area and across Kogi West Senatorial District, we find it necessary to put the public on notice regarding attempts by certain elements to sow seeds of division within our great party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

 

The statement read in Part”The people of Kogi West are politically aware and cannot be misled by manufactured political theatre. They are well aware of the contributions of Senator Sunday Karimi, whose interventions and empowerment programmes have positively impacted youths, women, and students across the Senatorial District.

 

“Equally, the people are witnesses to the numerous people-oriented projects facilitated by the Senator, which continue to improve lives and strengthen development across the district.

 

“We therefore urge those engaging in political theatrics and unnecessary sycophancy to focus on issues that truly matter to the people rather than actions capable of creating avoidable divisions within the party. Those who have failed the people cannot be repackaged in deceitful foils.

 

“As a team, we remain focused on the bigger task of delivering continued progress and strengthening the bond between leadership and

the people.
