Ajaokuta lawmaker, Jibrin, donates Solar panel to Prime FM in Jimgbe.
The Member, representing Ajaokuta in Kogi state House of Assembly, Hon. Jibrin has donated a solar energy panel to the Management of Prime FM located in Jimgbe community of Ajaokuta local Government Area of the state.
The Lawmaker noted that the presentation of solar panel today was in fulfilment of the promise he made during a live program featuring him and members of the Open Government Forum.
He said, the gesture aims at fortifying the station to effectively project it’s programmes to the people of kogi.
Meanwhile ,the management of INGRA and CHRCR Lokoja, deeply appreciate this gesture and urge individuals, cooperate organizations, to emulate his effort and continue to support media organizations and practitioners in Kogi Kogi State.
In a remark , Executive Director, Conscience for human rights and conflict resolution, CHRCH, Idris Miliki said, the Media as the mirror of the society needs support from government and the people for them to perform their constitutional duties and responsibilities.
He urge well meaning individuals, corporate organizations to lend their support to the station for effective dissemination of information especially as the general elections is around the corner.
