Kogi Stetscom tasks school principals , stakeholders to enroll in KHIS, HPV schemes.
Principals and core stakeholders in education In Idah Federal constituency which comprise Idah,Ibaji,Igalamela/Odolu and  Ofu on Wednesday converged on the Ocholi Kadiri Hall in the ancient town of Idah, headquarters of Igala kingdom to have interface with  Authorities of Kogi state science technical education and teaching service commission ‘STETSCOM’ under the progressive watch of hon.Peter Jibrin.
The meeting was summoned by the Commission to interact with Principals and schools administrators to fashion out latest strategies to tackle head on the nadir of human challenges occurring in schools across the state.
Kogi state Executive Chairman of Science Technical Education and Teaching Service Commission ‘STETSCOM’ hon.Peter Jibrin to fortify their schools premises by establishing a Security and Safety Response Team [SSRT] avert security threat urging Principals to not to allow Fulani herders to  graze on schools land.
According to the state STETSCOM boss,the parameters fencing of schools land, trespassing of schools land , preventing people using schools premises as driving ground and discouraging land encroachment by grabbers will quarantined the security of lives and property of Students and staff.
ON HEALTH,hon.Peter Jibrin enjoined principals and administrators of schools to encourage their staff to enroll into the kogi state health insurance scheme to enable them benefit from the affordable healthcare delivery services noting that the scheme was introduced by the federal government as one of government’s policies and adopted by the state government to enable the workers access sound healthcare services.
Hon Paul Jbrin equally directed Principals of secondary schools across the state to allowed health personnel from the State primary healthcare access their schools to immunise female students from the age of nine to fourteen against the Human Palloma Virus [HPV] ,a deadly disease that can cause cervical cancer In Women as the exercise begin from the 27th of this month and it last for one week.
He called for support among themselves and augment government’s efforts to raise the standard of education across the state regretting that a condition where schools have become ghost and only hosting reptiles,cobweb, goats owing to dearth of students should not be allowed to continue,urged for students enrolment .
