FGYB @49: Omala Council Boss Extols Ex-Gov. Bello’s Legacy
Hon. Mark Edibo Ameh, the Transition Committee Chairman of Omala Local Government Area, has extended warm birthday wishes to Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the former Governor of Kogi State and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, on the occasion of his 49th birthday.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Hon. Ameh praised Bello as a remarkable leader and mentor who uplifted countless individuals and guided the state towards prosperous growth during his eight-year tenure as Governor.
“Alhaji Yahaya Bello is a true visionary leader, whose leadership has left an indelible mark on our state,” Ameh said. “His unwavering dedication and commitment to the people of Kogi have inspired us all and paved the way for a brighter future.”
Hon. Ameh acknowledged Bello’s role as a mentor and compassionate leader, stating that the former Governor had a remarkable ability to identify and nurture talent, elevating individuals, most especially the youths, to positions of prominence and enabling them to contribute to the state’s progress.
“On behalf of the people of Omala local government area, I extend our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to Alhaji Yahaya Bello,” Ameh added. “We pray that the Almighty grants him long life, sound health, and continued success in his future endeavors.”
It could be recalled that during Bello’s administration, which spanned from 2016 to 2024, Kogi State witnessed significant development across various sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic growth. His policies and initiatives were widely lauded for their inclusiveness and focus on empowering the citizens of the state especially the youths.
