A Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Kogi State Governor who also serves as the Chairman of the Forum of SSAs, Kogi East, Dr. Aminu Atabo, has expressed deep gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for deploying a significant number of security personnel, including Army, Navy, and officers of the Civil Defense Corps, to Omala. The deployment comes alongside the establishment of a Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Omala, a step that has been widely praised by the Omala sons and daughters.

“This deployment shows the government’s dedication to maintaining peace and security in the entire Omala LGA and Bagana in particular,” said Dr. Atabo. “Governor Ododo’s proactive approach reflects his commitment to addressing the security concerns of our communities, promoting peace and stability, and encouraging development.”

Dr. Atabo, who once served as a Liaison Officer 1 to the local government, assured the government of Omala’s cooperation with the deployed troops. He expressed optimism that with this measure, the longstanding issue of insecurity plaguing the local government area will soon be a thing of the past.

“I am happy, my people are happy for this proactive stance of the Chief Servant of Kogi State,” Dr. Atabo remarked, referring to Governor Ododo’s dedication to the well-being of the people of Kogi State.

The deployment of these security personnel and the establishment of the FOB in Omala LGA are seen as crucial steps in the ongoing efforts to maintain peace, stability, and foster the much-needed development in Omala LGA.
