Kogi CP. Dantawaye visits NUJ,
 solicits media cooperation,
Kogi State Commissioner of Police, CP Miller Dantawaye has called for sustained synergy with the State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ.
CP Dantawaye made the call when he led his management team on a visit to the State Executive members of the NUJ in Lokoja.
He said effective synergy with the Media is key to crime fighting and successful policing in the State hence the need for the partnership.
According to him, he has come to serve the people in the area of fighting crimes and criminally minded people and called for intelligence gathering and sharing from the forth estate of the realm to achieve set goals.
CP Dantawaye promised unflinching cooperation of his men in achieving success in that direction to make Kogi State safer for all.
In his remark, the National Vice President, Zone D of the Union, Alhaji Adeiza Momohjimoh described the visit as key in the quest for success by the CP and his team.
Also in his remark, the Council Chairman, Alhaji Seidu Ademu Haruna promised the unalloyed support of members of the Council to the course of making Kogi State safer through effective collaboration with the CP and his team.
Alhaji Seidu expressed appreciation to the Commissioner of Police and his team and called for continued interface with the media at all times.
Highlights of the visit was the invitation of the CP and his team to the programme of the Council slated for Saturday, 22nd at the Press Centre, Lokoja.
