CP DANTAWAYE DECORATES SENIOR OFFICERS WITH NEW RANK

The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc has today Tuesday 9th September, 2025 decorated newly promoted deputy superintendent of police, in Lokoja.
The event mark a significant career milestone and a call for greater responsibilities with higher level of leadership and professionalism.
The CP charged them to uphold the values of their service and embrace new level of leadership and duty. Stressing that new rank comes with increased responsibilities, expecting greater level of performance and leadership.
CP further commended the officers for their commitment, discipline and professionalism which earned them this promotion. He emphasised that their  promotion serves as a testament to their unwavering commitment and sacrifices in ensuring the safety of lives and property in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the promotees, DSP Kai Bernard, Admin Officer Imane Division thanked the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D, NPM, for finding them worthy of the elevation. He assured that they will double their efforts in the fight against crime and criminality and to ensure the safety of lives and property in Kogi state.
The event was attended by family members, colleagues, and other senior officers to celebrate their career milestone which symbolizes the officers elevated status and accomplishments.
