The Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja on Monday has sacked the embattled Chairman of PDP , Hon. Enemona Anyebe and ordered Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo to be sworn  in immediately as the authentic chairman of the party in Kogi state.
Delivering the landmark judgement in suit no. FRC,/LKJ/CS/39/2024, Justice Isah A. Danshan, of the Federal High Court Lokoja, declared Hon. Mohammed Sanni Gambo as the duly Elected Chairman of Kogi State PDP.
The Judge ordered the immediate swearing in of Hon. Gambo, pointing out that nature abhors vacuum.
Justice Danshan ordered all the necessary security agencies to ensure the immediate swearing in of the Chairman, compelled the National leadership of the PDP, other concerned authorities to recognize Hon. Gambo as the duly elected Chairman of Kogi PDP.
Recalled that Hon. Gambo finished second in the last August 31st, 2024 Congress of the PDP. The alleged winner in that election, Enemona Anyebe was earlier barred from contesting in the Congress.
The Judge said following the fact on the INEC results sheets,  the party having maintained its zoning arrangement, declared that Hon. Gambo, having pulled majority of valid votes, declared him as the Kogi State PDP Chairman.
The Judge dismissed the suit of joinder by Tony Amego, who sought to be declared as winner by reasons of Micro zoning as null and void,  his suit lacks merit and undemocratic.
In his remarks, Hon. Muhammed Sani Gambo, described the judgement as a no victor no vanquished judgment, pointing out that his victory is for all.
While describing the judgement as the victory for the will of the people to uphold the sanctity of Democracy and the rule of law which is the last hope of the common man.
The new Chairman promised to reposition the Party ahead the 2027 General election, urged his co-contestants to join hands with him to build the PDP for victory in 2027
.Orders his immediate swearing in, recognition by PDP NWC, other concerned authorities.
The new Chairman promised that the PDP will bounce back, take over Lugard House as well as the Presidency in 2027, described the PDP as the Party for Nigerians.
Consequent on the judgement , Hon. Muhammed Sani Gambo was sworn in around 4 .30 pm  on Monday in the PDP secretariat opposite NSCDC headquarters in Lokoja, kogi state capital.
He said the sworn in ceremony was a testament to his dogged faith in the rule of law , faith in Democracy and faith in the enduring principle that justice, when, pursued through the right channel always prevailed.
According to him, ” Today,we celebrate not just a personal victory, but a victory for the entire men and women in PDP in Kogi state. The judgement of the Federal high court Lokoja today  has once again upheld the supremacy of our party ‘s constitution and reaffirmed our collective belief that PDP remains a party of law , order and justice.
” To my co-contestants and other stakeholders, I extend my  hand of friendship. The contest is over , this is the time for partnership. Today, we stand at the threshold of a new dawn. Under my leadership, I pledge to run an all inclusive administration where every member will be values, heard and given the opportunity to contribute meaningfully.” He declared.
