” Says late Salisu committed to peace building

The Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Area, Hon. Edibo Peter Ameh Mark, on Friday joined family members, political associates, and the entire community at the 8th-day Fidau prayers held in honour of the late Mallam Hon. Salisu Akpa (Ogodo), who until his passing served as the PDP Ward II Chairman.
Hon. Mark who described the late Mall. Salisu Akpa as a committed grassroot mobilizer, a bridge-builder, and a dedicated party man saying his contributions to community development and democratic growth will remain evergreen.
He noted that Mallam Akpa lived a life marked with humility, service, and unwavering loyalty to the ideals of good governance, adding that his demise is a significant loss not only to his immediate family but to the entire Omala LGA and the Peoples Democratic Party.
The Chairman used the occasion to extend his condolences to the bereaved family, the PDP Ward II leadership, and all political stakeholders who worked closely with the late community leader.
He prayed for the repose of his soul and for God to grant the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
While  reaffirming his administration’s commitment to fostering unity, peace, and community support across all wards, highlighted the importance of standing together during moments of grief.
