Kogi APC remains united, cohesive -KPSF replies critics.

Contrary to the misinformation being peddled through some uninformed social media platforms,the Kogi state APC Progressive Stakeholders Forum KPSF has disclosed that the APC in the state remained united, cohesive , devoid of division within its folds.
In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Sani Philips and made available to Treasuretimes in Lokoja on Saturday noted that the the alleged cracks and division within the party was the handiwork of unscrupulous elements trying frantically to dismember the party through their social media handles.
The Publicity Secretary said the meeting of the group held on the 4 February, 2026 was to drum support for President Tinubu ‘s reelection which members unanimously endorsed at the meeting.
He explain that ordinarily, the forum would not have decimated energy in responding to these unscrupulous elements but for unsuspecting members of the party and in a bid to providing further clarity, the forum wishes to unequivocally state the follows;
” That the forum is not a faction and does not represent any real or imaginary faction of the APC in Kogi State.
“That the forum was not against or in contention with the leadership structure of the APC in Kogi State, stressing further the APC in Kogi State is one indivisible entity under the leadership of H.E  Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, Governor of Kogi State.
” The cardinal objective of the the forum’s  meeting was to singularly endorse the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for a second term in office due to his outstanding performances and in doing so, the forum emphasized the need for unity, cohesion, inclusion, equity and fairness in the administration of the party towards a successful re-election campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027.
” The thematic focus of the forum is anchored solely and squarely on the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR which it considered a strategic imperative and competitive advantage towards winning all other elections in the state.
“The forum is not an extension of any political tendency or personal ambition, but a collective platform comprising party elders, leaders and grassroots stakeholders committed to the unity and progress of the APC in Kogi State.
“The Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum is a forum consisting of eminent personalities from across the 21 LGA’s of Kogi state who are active and faithful members of the APC to ensure unity, cohesion and to create a united front towards winning all elections in the state” the statement elaborated.
While advising the mischief makers using social media handles to desist from creating imaginary division in the party, urged the general public to treat this press statement as the true reflection of the  intent and purposes of the forum.
