Unification of Lent , Ramadan: Kosopadec MD, Jackson Omonu, calls for spiritual rebirth, commitment to National ethos.

As Christians and Muslims divinely commenced their annual self denial and seeking spiritual cleansing through fasting, the Managing Director of Kogi state Oil producing Area Development Commission Kosopadec, Omonu Jackson has admonished adherents of the two charismatic religions in Nigeria to use this occasion to commit themselves to uplifting the National ethos.
The Managing Director gave the admonition to Nigerians on Wednesday in Lokoja and urge the faithfuls to exemplify the essence of the annual spiritual diadem.
He said , for the the lent and Ramadan to commence on the same day has its spiritual significance as there is no marked difference between the two religions.
He added that the commencement of Lent and Ramadan on the same day was not a coincidence, but a clear reality that God Almighty is the foundation of the two religions, meaning that the faithfuls are seeking the face of God through different modes, but, God Almighty remained the foundation of their beliefs.
Omonu Jackson appeal to Nigerians of all faiths to anchor their lives on the supremacy of God in the affairs of men and to focus on the omnipotent, Omniscient and omnipresence awesome God.
He stressed that Nigeria is passing through turbulence phase in its life history, therefore, there is a need to recommit themselves to the ideals that will transform the country rather than concentrating on issues that divide the people of Nigeria.
He noted that Nigeria stands to gain from our plurality if only we develope a national ethos, roadmap and inculcating principles of inclusivity in our daily lives, saying the Government of Governor Ododo and President Tinubu are working assiduously to unite the people for national development.
He urged Nigerians to use this spiritual coincidence to inspire, invigorate and reinventing the spirit and the never dying spirit of Nigerians.
Jackson concluded by soliciting massive support for Governor Ododo and President Tinubu for the  reelection bids.
