Jubilations as Daughter of slain Civil Defence Officer ,escapes from Bandits den in Kogi.
The abducted daughter of slain Civil Defence officer by the bandits operating in Yagba west LGA of kogi state has escaped unhurt from the den early hours of today 9/6/2026.
The cheering news was broken to our Correspondent, by a dependable source within the security aparachute in the state.
Recall that the attack which occured yesterday at the Odo-Ere headquarters of Yagba west LGA led to the death of Mr. Ayo, a member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), .
Mr. Ayo who was shot on the head died instantly while the daughter was whisked away into the bush.
However, luck smile at the daughter as she managed to escape from the bandits gulag and has since been reunited with the family.
According to the source, investigation has commence as tactical team of the security agencies have launched massive manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators.
