… Hail APC-led Administration For Inclusion, Development
The people of Cross River and Edo States resident in Lokoja, Kogi State, have unanimously reiterated their readiness to stand firmly with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for a second term in office, describing the APC-led administration in the State as a beacon of inclusive governance, peace and progress in the 35-year history of the state.
The declaration was made when the Special Adviser to the Governor on South Mobilization, Mr. Abu Michael, led a delegation on a familiarization tour and engagement with residents of South extraction in the State.
Speaking on behalf of the Cross River State community, Mr. Austin Edun, expressed deep appreciation to Governor Ododo for extending the hands of fellowship and recognition to Southerners in Kogi State.
He noted that the opportunity provided by the administration has emboldened the residents to make the Governor their choice for 2027.
According to him, the Governor represents the best thing that has happened to Kogi State since its creation in 1991, adding that since his assumption of office the state has enjoyed unprecedented peace, tranquility and unity among all tribes.
He stressed further that what is desirable at this time in the state is for continuity, continuity of the good policies, continuity of empowerment, and continuity of the developmental strides that have placed Kogi on the path of sustainable growth.

Group of Edo State resident in Otokiti, Lokoja, also lent their voices in strong support of the administration. The Leader, Joseph Bagudu and women leader, Hajia Rahinat described Governor Ododo as a leader with a human face who has prioritized the welfare of women and children through free education, scholarships and various empowerment programs.
They commended Mr. Abu Micheal for his tireless efforts in mobilizing the South community and for initiating several proposed empowerment programs with the backing of the Governor, noting that such gestures call for massive support and a renewed mandate for the APC-led government.
In a resounding declaration, the group said, “We the men and women are ready. We have resolved. It is a battle of no surrender. For our children who are enjoying free education and scholarships, we urge the Governor to sleep with his eyes closed because our endorsement will be translated into massive votes in the 2027 general elections for the renewed mandate of Governor Ododo.”
Responding, Mr. Abu Micheal thanked the South Community for their loyalty and unwavering support. He described their decision as a choice for progress and sustained development, stressing that the inclusive approach of the Ododo administration has given Southerners a true sense of belonging for the first time in the history of the state.
He assured them that their trust would not be in vain, as more empowerment initiatives and welfare programs are being packaged to further uplift the people. He called on all residents to remain peaceful, united and committed to mobilizing massively for the APC ahead of 2027.
The gathering ended with chants of solidarity and prayers for the continued success of the APC-led administration in Kogi State under the leadership of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo.
