Kogi gets new commissioner of Police CP Idrisu Dauda Dabban .
* promises to sustain success of predecessor.

Kogi state command of the Nigerian Police Force on Monday received the New Commissioner of CP Idrisu Dauda Dabban .
He took over from the former CP Ayuba Edeh who has been transferred to zone 8 command as the new Assistant Inspector General of Police.AIG.
While taking over at the Command headquarters in Lokoja, the new Cp promised to build on the successes of his predecessor who he noted has contributed immensely to the reduction of crime and criminality across the state.
Dabban assured that he was already abreast with the security situation in the state having served in the state as the Deputy Commissioner of Police DCP in charge of Criminal Investigation Department CID.
He solicited for the cooperation of officers and men of the command and all stakeholders especially the Press, to be able to achieve his mandate of zero tolerance for crime and criminality.
The new CP urge officers and men to display professionalism and to be at alert at their duty posts to prevent falling prey to criminals.
While commending officers and men of the command for their commitment to combat crimes , urged senior officer to continue to lecture their subordinates to display best practices in the prosecution of their duties.
He particularly called on the Press to give him maximum support to enable him to succeed, admitting that the Press is pivotal in the fight against crimes and criminality in any Society
