Unemployment: NDE Embarks On Compliance Monitoring of Graduates Attachment Programme In Kogi
The National Directorate of Employment (NDE), has embarked on compliance check/mornitoring of the participants of Graduates Attachment Programme (GAP) in Kogi to ensure effective utilisation of the scheme.
The essence was to ensure that beneficiaries don’t misplaced the opportunity offered them by the federal government.
The programme which is under the Special Public Works Department will serve as search light on the participants.
The representative of the Director of Special Public Works and team leader of the monitoring visit in Kogi, Mrs. Benita Nakanda expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the participants conducted themselves saying that it shows their readiness to comply with the rules and regulations guiding the programme especially on their attendance.
She urged the participants to continue to co-operate with the officers of the Directorate for the inspection in their own interest and that of the nation at large.

Benita Nakanda therefore, called on the participants to co-operate with government in its efforts to make them self-reliant as there are no white Collar jobs to accommodate the rising population of youths graduating from Secondary and Tertiary Institutions year in, year out.
