Ata Igala loses elder brother., Samuel ex- CBN staff.
The Ata Igala, His Royal Majesty (HRM), Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Ogwuche11 has lost his immediate Elder Brother, Prince Samuel Ogwuche Akpa on Monday evening.
His death which occurred on Monday 21/2/2022 ten day to Atta’s official presentation of staff office by Gov. Yahaya Bello may not likely going to affect the ceremony going by the feelers from the palace.
The deceased prince was said to have been sighted in the palace of Ata Igala in the ancestral headquarters of Igala kingdom on Sunday hale and hearty, exchanging banters with his junior brother to the admiration of all.
Our correspondent report that the deceased has been battling with partial stroke before he gave up the ghost yesterday.
“If not for the stroke attack , he would have succeeded the late Ata Igala , late Micheal Idakwo Ame Oboni who had gone on hunting expedition”, said an elder from the palace .
Until his death on Monday ,Late Samuel was a retired senior staff of Central Bank of Nigeria.
