Towards equipping officers attached to Very important personalities VIP on modern technologies in handling their mandate, the NSCDC Kogi state Command has organised a three day Seminar and workshop for armed bearers units of the corps.
Addressing participants on Wednesday in Lokoja, , the commandant, Suleiman Mafara charged them to be alive to their responsibilities and to shun all forms of distractions that impinges on the effectiveness of their core values in the performance of their duties.
He emphasized that the essence of the training and workshop is for them to be abreast with the power of, intra and interpersonal relationships , re-enforcement and collaboration with other security agencies and in crime control and prevention.
The commandant urged the personnel to always adopt scientific approach using Mediation, and dialogue, rather than the use of brutal force, which he said should be the last resort.
While, calling on them to make judicious use of the workshop in enhancing their capacity, wish them Successful deliberations.
