The Gbagada Jasmine Lions club has sponsored 3 cataract surgeries of three different people.
This was disclosed by the President of the club Lion Ada Okorie in a statement made available to our correspondent on Saturday.
Lion Okorie expressed joy at the success of the operation carried out by Specialist, Eye doctor hospital Victoria Island.
” The patients were given hope as their sights were restored to the glory of God” Okorie noted.
Gbagada Jasmine club is part of the international Association of Lions club, Region 3, District 404A1, Nigeria.
“As Lions, we hold ourselves to the absolute highest standards in everything we do. Our members and clubs are dedicated to serving others. We champion kindness in our communities and actively work to improve the lives of people.” The president added.
The club carried out its vision project to support one of its 5 global causes Diabetes, Childhood Cancer, Vison, Hunger and the Environment.
