Breaking; Kogi Monarch, Maigari of Lokoja Alhaji (Dr) Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi lll dies at 80.
Alhaji Kabir Maikarfi III and paramount ruler of Lokoja Local Government Area of kogi state has died at the age of 80 on Wednesday evening after a brief illness in a private hospital in Abuja.
Late Maigeri Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111 ascended the throne in 1992.
In a press statement Issued by late Wednesday night, the Secretary , Lokoja Local Government Traditional Council, Muhammed Nalado Usman confirmed the death of the traditional ruler.
The late royal father has been buried at his palace burying ground at 2pm today , Thursday according to the Muslim rite.
