Resumption of duty ;Embrace team work for Service delivery Rector, Fed.poly Idah tasks Mgt. Committees.
The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Idah, Dr . Yahaya Baba Usman has charged members of various standing committees to forge unity and cooperation among its members in order to achieve desired results that will reposition the Institution.
The Rector gave the charge on Monday 9th January, 2023 during his first interactive session with the Management Committees at the New Multipurpose Hall of the institution.
Dr. Usman who assumed duty on 27th December, 2022 as the 8th Rector of the institution, stressed the need for Members of the Management Committee to be committed, saying their importance to the growth and development of the polytechnic cannot be overemphasized.
while thanking the Committee for the warm reception accorded him during the handing and taking over of the affairs of the institution urged them to continue to render their selfless services through unity of purpose.
According to the Rector, ” It is only through Unity and cooperation among the members of Management that can bring about rapid growth and transformation of our dear Polytechnic.
In a remark, the Registrar of the polytechnic, Abdulkadir Abba, pledged their loyalty and support for the rector to move the school forward.
The Registrar who was represented by Mr. Ernest Katsina Okoriko,Deputy Registrar, Exams and Records assured him of the unalloyed cooperation of Management, staff and students for seamless operations of the polytechnic.
In the same vein, Engr. Sunday Apeh, Deputy Rector reiterated the commitment of the Management Committee to ensure hitch free tenure, and pray to God to grant him divine wisdom as he pilots the affairs of the Institution.
