Celebration galore as Kogi NSCDC Headquarters wears new look.
There was wild jubilation by officers and men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps over the structural facelift of the buildings by the kogi state Commandant of the corps , CD Ahmed Gandi.
The Commandant who is barely some months in the state undertook remodelling of all the structures in the command to enhance conducive working atmosphere for personel.
The Command which was hitherto in a not too good conditions for the enhancement of productivity of personal got the attention of the Commandant , Ahmed Gandi who in earnest took the bull by the horns by mobilising resources to effect rehabilitation of the buildings.
Speaking to Treasure times on Wednesday, the Commandant , Ahmed Gandi noted that there is Nexus between conducive environment and productivity, hence , his decision to embark on the rehabilitation even at the expense of paucity of fund.
He called on officers and men to use the opportunity to increase productivity to stamp out crimes and criminality.
In a remark, cross sections of personel at the Command thanked the Commandant for his timely intervention and pledged to redouble their efforts in bringing down spate of security threats across the state.
