NO COMPROMISE ON QUALITY OF WORK-GOV BAGO WARNS CONTRACTORS.

Niger State governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has warned contractors handle various projects across the state that government would not compromise on the quality of work.

Governor Bago gave the warning while presiding over Contract Signing Ceremony for the Conversion of Shiroro Hotel into IBB University Teaching Hospital,held at government house Minna,Wednesday.

Bago also emphasized that no variation would be entertained, and that there would be no compromise on quality throughout the project.

He expressed his administration determination to provide a state-of-the-art teaching hospital that would meet the highest standards of excellence in healthcare.

Thinklab Development Company, a renowned construction firm, was awarded the contract for Lot 1, valued at N13billion. Their scope of work includes the expansion, refurbishment, and upgrading of existing structures, as well as the construction of new buildings.

This comprehensive lot encompasses the implementation of critical systems such as structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection, ensuring the hospital’s infrastructure is modern and efficient.

Fulus Group, a construction company, will execute Lot 2, valued at N1.75billion.

This lot focuses on the infrastructure
and external works of the hospital, encompassing the construction of fences, gatehouses, roads, culverts, drainages, parking lots, and landscaping.

Additionally, it includes vital external facilities such as electrification, water sourcing, and reticulation to enhance functionality and connectivity.

Thinklab Energy, a renowned supplier of essential equipment, was awarded the contract for Lot 3, valued at N3.87billion. their responsibility includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of state-of-the-art equipments that will ensure the hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology to deliver the highest quality of care to patients.

The governor however expressed confidence in the capabilities of the selected contractors, citing their proven track record of excellence and expertise in executing complex projects.

The conversion of Shiroro Hotel into the IBB University Teaching Hospital signifies a bold step towards improving healthcare services in Niger State,if completed,the hospital will serve as a beacon of hope, providing advanced medical care and promoting a healthier future for all citizens of the state.

The contract signing ceremony was attended by government officials, healthcare professionals, and representatives from the awarded companies.

The event symbolized the collective efforts between the public and private sectors to advance healthcare infrastructure and services in Niger State.

The conversion of Shiroro Hotel into the IBB University Teaching Hospital is poised to become a milestone achievement, leaving a lasting impact on healthcare delivery and enhancing the lives of countless individuals in the state.
