Ex. Reps. Member Idris Felicitates Gov’ Elect, Ododo.
Former House of representatives member for Ankpa Federal Constituency, Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Idris has described the election of Ahmed Usman Ododo as the finger of God in action.
The ex. Federal lawmaker in a press Release he personally signed and made available to journalists in Lokoja on Monday, noted that the people of kogi state spoke in unison without iota of sentiments through the ballot on Saturday.
He said the groundwork of development laid by the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello was largely responsible for the overwhelming votes cast for the APC , adding that the people were yearning for continuity and consolidation of his land mark achievements.
Idris who stated that, his reason to abandon PDP for the APC few days to the election was to join hands with the progressive minds to institutionalise effective and efficient governance in kogi state.
According to him, the resounding victory is a confirmation of good work of governor Yahaya Bello and a divine and popular mandate , as exemplified by the electorate across the senatorial Districts , devoid of primordial sentiments of ethnicity and creeds.
I urge all the APC members, stakeholders and indeed the generality of Kogites to intensify their unalloyed support for the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the incoming administration of Governor Elect, Ahmed Usman Ododo.
While assuring him of his unfettered loyalty and commitment to the sustenance of the administration, wish him a successful and sustainable tenure.
