Hon. Emmanuel Ibrahim Complete has condemned in its entirety the attack on Agojeju Odo- his community- by suspected fulani militia.
Hon. Emmanuel Ibrahim Complete in a press statement made available to journalists in Lokoja on Wednesday, calls for concerted efforts to arrest the ugly trend
He described the attack as barbaric, provocative, irrecoverable, wanton and a deliberate attempt at destroying peace in Omala LGA by the perpetrators.
Hon. Emmanuel Ibrahim Complete said that peace is non-negotiable in any human society and that all hands must be on deck to ensure peace at all times and urged the Security Agencies to ensure that perpetrators are brought to book
He also called on the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to come to the aid of the people of Omala LGA by establishing Naval Base in Bagana.
According to him, the presence of both army and navy will help to permanently address insecurity in Bagana and its environs in Omala LGA of Kogi State.
He solicited for relief materials for his people as the survivors of the attack have lost so much to the destruction of their farms earlier before the attack by the Fulani and their herds.
He enjoined the people of good will across the state and security agencies to remain resolute in ensuring that the lingering insecurity in the area is curtailed,
Recall that suspected Fulani bandits on Thursday last week gruesomely killed 25 persons in Agojeju Odo.
