The Udama Kpai Unyogba Idah Development Association, has condemn in strong terms the recent attack on Ibaji Communities, call for the arrest and prosecution of those behind the attack.
In a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, Hon Paul Ukwenya, President UKUIDA, described the brutal killings of four Ibaji citizens by yet to be apprehended hoodlums as unfortunate.
The statement called on the government and security agencies to ensure the arrest of the perpetrators, insisting that no stone must be left unturned in unraveling the immediate and remote cause of the gruesome attack on an innocent the communities.
According to the Statement, “UKUIDA is using this medium to call on the security agencies to go after and fish out those behind the dastardly act”.
” We will not rest on our oars until the perpetrators are arrested to face the full wrath of the law.
The action of the mastermind who derive pleasures in the killing and destruction of people’s property even without provocations must not be allowed to go unchallenged”.
” We therefore call on Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo, security agencies to ensure measures that will lead to the arrest of the attackers as well as bring them to justice”.
” Until this is done to serve as deterrent to indulgent who partook in the wanton destruction and killings of innocent people, such crimes will continue to fester in the society”.
