* As Ade- Bada Foundation International holds 2ND Biennial lecture Award investiture.
The Provost College of Education Akpa, Dr. Fashagba Paul- Femi has challenge people living with Special needs to discover their God given talents and put it to productive use rather than depending on others for their survival.
The Erudite Scholar who gave the challenge on Friday at the Ade- Bada Foundation International, 2nd Biennial lecture Award investiture and empowerment fund raising held in Lokoja.
Dr. Fashagba who is also a recipient of outstanding Humanitarian Award noted that Ade- bada foundation is a programme that touches humanity and shows the value that, not until one is complete physically that can make things happen.
He said that Adebada has demonstrated beyond reasonable doubts that there is ability even in disability.
He added that the programme has been a voice beyond analysis advising those with one challenge or the other to take their minds off it to allow initiative to rule their world.
He pointed out that Adebada has not allow his disability to be a challenge to him as he has conquered his fears and turned it to productive enterprise for the betterment of the society.
* Adebada with his sight impairment has written books, the books that some able bodied Scholars could not write. His book has inspired and encourage the people to convert their disability to productive use.”
He urged those who believe that their condition would make them to depend on others through begging to borrow a leaf from him to make use of their innate ability for sustenance of their lives.
Earlier, the founder of Ade- bada foundation International, Pastor Adeniyi Ezekiel Bada said, his concept is to help the community of special citizens to bring out and fire their innate ability to transform their lives and the world around them.
He said the special citizens should be encouraged to make best use of their lives in order not to rely and over dependency on others or become a nuisance to the society.
He cautioned against people who disdainfully referred to them as disabled, urging Nigerians to refrain from the nomenclature as every one has its ability no matter the challenges.
He promised to send a bill to the state House of Assembly to change the narrative and accord them respect in the society.
He commended the President of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Alhassan Yahaya for taking time off his tight schedule to attend the occasion and all the awardees for staying by him in all seasons .
