Kogi PDP stakeholders close ranks vows to claim mandates.

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP in kogi state have resolved to close ranks and work as a team to reposition the party .
This is Just as it vowed to claim all  positions to be fielded  in the coming general elections while acknowledging the integrity of INEC to conduct free, fair and transparent elections.
The stakeholders made the disclosure today in Lokoja, Kogi state capital at  a summit held to unite and iron out existed differences due to hitherto factionalism of the Party..
The stakeholders urged leaders and members to contribute handsomely to the  success of the ongoing E- Registration of members, while enlighting  members against unauthorized registration portal donning the media space.
In her submission, the Senator Representing Kogi Central and Leader of the Party in the state, Senator Natasha Adiza Akpoti – Uduaghan calls for unity among members and to warmly receive  the returnees and the new entrants , so as to fortify the party for the next elections.
The Senator acknowledged the visibility of the party in all nooks and crannies stressing that the supposed rift within the party has been resolved with the INEC recognizing the Executive committee of the Party.
She assured that the PDP will be on the ballot in the 2027 general elections, and appealed for grassroot mobilisation to making the party a party of first choice in the state.
According to her” Let us bury our hatchet and work as a team. The friction within the Party has been resolved. INEC has recognized Barrister Nyesom Wike supported EXCO. We are back and better.
This is the time of alignment and realignment which calls for concerted effort to embrace everyone to the fold. You are to manage expectations and diverse groups who intend to join our party to do so on their volition. We are not expected to be confrontational in our approach to woo members, as PDP is already a brand. We are to let the potential members know that in PDP there is  free space for everyone even as old and new entrants have equal rights and can aspire to any position of their choices” she admonished.
On her next political move, the ebullient politician noted that after due consultation with her family and her political leaders , she will declare her aspiration which will be in the interest of the Party.
She added that when she make up her mind to contest, she will campaign vigorously to all the corners of Kogi central Senatorial zone.
She said with the support of her people who have witnessed her commitment to empower them, will queue  behind her no matter the standing of the candidates of the opposition Parties.
While acknowledging the integrity of the leadership of INEC to conduct free fair and transparent elections and the Security forces to safeguard the process , warned against compromise in favour of the ruling party, as the whole world is watching with keen interest.
She commended stakeholders for their resilience in the face of daunting challenges to stick to the party , assuring that with collective determination, the party will stand tall in the forthcoming general elections.
In a remark, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi aka Elephant, announced his return to the PDP after his sojourn in ADC, vowing to contribute all things within his powers to reposition the Party.
He said, to convince the gathering of the genuineness of his return , donated cash to assist the smooth membership E- Registration project.
In the same vein, Hassan Idris ( HK) a senatorial hopeful from Kogi East, promised to do something magical and meticulous that will make PDP bounce back forcibly beyond the expectations of the naysayers.
Earlier, the State Chairman , Mohammed Gambo appealed to members to work hard in unison as PDP has all it takes to reclaim the state.
While Commending participants for their long commitment to uphold the party and call for total support for Senator Natasha in her next political aspiration.
Those in attendance include, a three term House of Representatives member, Taju  Yusuf,  Ex. Reps. Barrister Shaba Ibrahim,  Barrister Kabir,  former Governorship aspirant Abubakar Ibrahim Idris, former Deputy Speaker, Hon. Aliyu Akuh,  Paul Ukwenya , Yahaya Karaku, Abdulraman Badamasuiy and host of others.
