Harps on Unity, commitment to party idealogy.
The African Democratic Party ADC has kickstarted the process of membership registration to fortify party structures in Kogi state.

This is just as over 600,000 membership cards are up for grab by potential members of the party across the three senatorial zones of the state.
This was disclosed by the Distinguish Senator Tunde Ogbeha and leader of ADC in the state at the Stakeholders’ meeting held in his sprawling compound on Thursday in Lokoja.
The meeting which drew stakeholders and members from across the state harps on unity and conscious efforts for mass mobilisation and membership drive for effective take off of the party in the state.

Senator Ogbeha noted that the people of the state are yearning for a change as the the ruling party has dashed their aspirations through weaponization of poverty across the state.
He charged the stakeholders to serve as agents to market the selling propositions of the ADC which aimed at rescuing the state from the jaws of the APC which has hoisted hunger and deprivations on the people.

He added that the stakeholders meeting is to review the activities of the coalition and urge participants to go back home and extend the message of hope to their people as ADC is set to take over the government in 2027.
According to him” we are here to review our strategies. We as leaders must show the way to the people. The people are traumatized by bad governance of APC and they are looking unto our party to salvage them. All we needs do is to market our manifesto to them. We don’t need to engage even the members of APC in arguments but to show them the way out of the present quagmire of APC. The people are tired and needed solutions which ADC is set to deliver to them. I know with deliberate effort by us, we will surpass our target of six hundred thousand members in the first instance of the membership registration” He assured.

Meanwhile, leaders from Kogi East, Elder Simon Achuba, former Deputy Governor of Kogi state, former PDP chairman Engineer Ohuotu and former Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Musa Ahmodu spoke unbehalf of Central and west senatorial zones.

The assured that the registration will be seamless and free of hitches noting that the people are already eager for the commencement of the membership registration.
