As VP call for Unity, Support
The Technical Adviser to Ministry Of Information & Communications, Kogi State, Comrade Ebenezer Adurodija
on Wednesday hosted working journalists in Kogi state to Muslim Ramadan and Lent Breakfast, urged them to continue to support Kogi state government in all its activities.
The breakfast was held at NUJ press centre, Lokoja which had in attendance members of the pen profession from various media houses, cutting across the eight chapels in the state.
The Technical Adviser, in his jovial and humorous style, crack jokes with the teeming journalists throughout his stay at the gathering.
The highly elated technical Adviser Commended the Vice president of Zone D, Comrade Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, and Kogi state chairman of the noble profession in the state, Alhaji Seidu Ademu for their continuous support for the amiable commissioner of information and communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo.
He acknowledged the synergy between the media and the ministry of Information, stating that he has been enjoying such synergy from beginning as member of the NUJ, Kogi state council.
He said in his career so far he has enjoyed the favour of the media, and added that he would continue to ensure that the synergy continued.
He said, “I understand the role you played, You have done well since Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo came on board as the Executive Governor of Kogi state, we have enjoyed favour from the media, we hereby seek for more support from you all.”, he said.
Speaking on behalf of all working journalists in the state, the vice president of NUJ, Zone D, Comrade Adeiza Momoh Jimoh commended Adurodija for his humanitarian and philanthropical gesture towards the welfare of all working journalists in Kogi state.
Comrade Adeiza Momoh Jimoh assured the the Technical Adviser of the union’s readiness to continue to support and publicize the activities of the state government.
According to him, “Comrade Ebenezer Adurodija has continued to play the father figure to almost all of us here in Kogi NUJ, he did not only demonstrate that disposition tonight, but he has also confirmed the cordial relationship that exists between his office and Kogi NUJ”, Comrade MomohJimoh added.
