Kogi West Monarchs commend Tinubu, Ododo for Tackling Insecurity, pledges support.for Administrations.
The Royal Monarchs from the Seven Local Government of Kogi West have applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for their commitment to fighting insecurity in the area leading to drastic decimation of banditry and insurgency in the Zone.
The Royal fathers rising from their meeting held on Tuesday in Lokoja, applauded the government of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for their proactiveness in mobilizing necessary resources to confront the menace of kidnapping which has yielded positive result with relative peace and security across the western zone of kogi state.
Speaking to the Press at the end of the meeting, His Royal Majesty, the Ohimege Igu of Kotokarfe, Alhaji Seidu Akawu Salihu, said, the insecurity that hitherto held down the people of the west, have received Waterloo from the president and Governor Ododo who swung into action with the deployment of security architecture to the zone which has become a safe haven for people to go about their lawful activities without breakdown of law and order from men of the under world.
The Royal father’s appreciated the president and Governor Ododo for coming to the aid of the people when insecurity became the order of the day, by channeling enormous human and material resources that have obliterated the criminals from the zone.
He said, the Traditional rulers across the zone have been on their toes working with the people and government to ensure timely disclosure of credible intelligence, adding that the efforts is the manifestation of the relative peace that people are now experiencing.
He added that the Federal Government and kogi state have done well to confront the kidnappers and bandits head-on, stressing that , kogi West has in several months not experienced the activities of men of underworld.
He charged the people to continue to support the APC administration in the centre and in the state for the dividends of Democracy, hinting that to whom much is given more is expected.
He urged the government not rest on its oars but sustain the moment against insecurity and restore total security confidence to the people of the zone.
He appealed to their counterparts from kogi Central and East to counsel their people to play the game of politics by the rules and remain in harmony and Unity during and after the coming general elections
