Niger Maize Coordinator, Hajiya Abdullahi bags Award.

The Niger State coordinator of Maize Association of Nigeria (MAAN) Hajiya Aisha Gogo Abdullahi has received a meritorious award for her commitment and dedication to the association in the North Central states.
The award which was presented to her by the association within the North Central states was aimed at encouraging her to be more committed to improving the well being of members.
Presenting the award in Minna, the Niger Sate capital at the Weekend, the National president of MAFAN Alhaji Abubakar Bello Anzar described Hajiya Aisha Goggo Abdullahi as a hard-working and commitment to the development of the Association.
According to him, she has taken the association to a higher pedestal since the inception of MAAN.
This he said informed the collective decision of members to present her with the award which he noted was the first of its kind in the history of the association.
The president who was represented by the North Central states’ president of the association Mr. James Kolo reiterated that MAAN will continue to encourage members across the country to emulate the commitment of Hajiya Abdullahi inorder to receive similar award.
He noted that the association which came in to existence in 2017 has continued to grow in leaps and bounds with membership cutting across the country.
He said it was established to increase maize production in the country stressing that it will equally create employment opportunities to the teaming unemployed youths.
He pointed out that since the inception of the Association it has contributed meaningfully to the socio-economic development of the country through job creation among the increasing unemployed graduates.
He then appealed to the state Governments and relevant stakeholders in Agric sector to partner with the Association towards addressing the increasing rate of food insecurity in the country.
The president of Association commended the policy of the Federal Government on Agriculture through Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) Anchor Borrowers for its support to the Association,he then appealed for more synergy from relevant agencies to enable the Association boast farrming in the country.
Receiving the award, Hajiya Aisha Goggo Abdullahi stated that the award came to her as a big surprise as she never thought that all she was doing was being monitored,
Alisha promised to be more dedicated to her responsibilities.
Hajiya Aisha Goggo called on the yourths in the country to key into maize farming to improve their financial status.
She then commend the Association for presenting her with the award, and pledged her unflinching commitment and support to the Association at all times.
