*Challenge electorate, Inec, security agencies to defend Electoral Act.*
The Ajaokuta House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic party PDP Hon. Haruna Mohammed has reassured his constituents of his commitment to their welfare and development of the area if elected into the House.
This is just as he challenge the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Security Agencies and the entire electorate to work assiduously for the defence of the new Electoral Act to ensure free, fair and just elections.
The Ajaokuta House of Assembly frontline aspirant gave the assurance at his family Compound  for the formal palace and District declaration of his aspiration to run for the forthcoming House of Assembly election.
He averred that his persistent attempt at the House of Assembly is borne out the desire of his people for him to represent them at that level taking cognizance of his capacity and capabilities to wrestle development to the constituency.
He added that, having contested for the position in two previous occasions, he has learnt enough lessons to making him triumph against any opponent at the general elections, urged the Inec, security agencies and the electorate to be vigilant to ensure that the reformed Electoral Act is practicalise to the letter.
The budding politician assured his constituents not to dispair about the past election  robbery against him, which he called  an act of God, stressing that it is not over until it is over.
He called on the electorate to remain resolute in their quest for fair ,just and egalitarian society, which calls for sacrifices, urging them not waiver until their dream comes to past.
Haruna , a former supervisory councillor for Works Ajaokuta LGA, a business mogul, community leader and Philantropist per excellence promise to initiate bills and motions that will entrench  functional Schools, Federal and State Government presence in Ganaja village and indeed the entire Ajaokuta constituency.
He said, his past attempts have given him an understanding of the dynamics of people in an elections , which he has learnt to handle with keen interest, thanked the people for standing by him in those elections even though, he was robbed of the victory.
” No matter the previous challenges, im confident that a day of triumph will come , which is now. I have faith in God and since he is involved in this project, im sure he will grant me success this time.
” As you know,  experience is a best teacher. I contested in 2015 and 2019 and the whole world knows we won squarely but we were rigged. Mine consolation is in God who is the only one that ordains and at appropriate time he will ordain me.
” I was not declared winner in those elections, not because im not popular. If election is conducted free and fair no matter how many times, i will win. I called on Inec, security agencies and the people to remain steadfast in the defence of democracy through internal vigilance.
” In my first few months ,if im elected, i will pass a bill for the establishment of Government Secondary school in Ganaja. There are no banks for the entire Geregu ward. We dont have modern markets, No hospital ,  Police  stations and other Security Agencies are not handy within the Constituency. This will be my first assignment.  “
According to him, his repeated contest was borne out of the desire of his people to have someone who knows their problems and can solve it, expression confidence that the people is his electoral asset.
He boasted that he will win the forthcoming House of Assembly election irrespective of the opponents adding, he has done enough groundwork that has placed him above other opponents, praying for the poll to be conducted democratically.
While exuding confidence of winning the poll, disclosed that the poor performance of the ruling APC has already campaigned for him and PDP, insisting that the people are tired of hunger, poverty, insecurity, dwindling fortune of the naira and all sorts of inhumanity, even as they are yearning for dramatic change of power.
