KERC ENGAGES STAKEHOLDERS IN KOGI CENTRAL

Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission engages stakeholders in Kogi central on Saturday, at Ohinoyi palace Okene Kogi State, the meeting focuses on enhancing stakeholders participation for effective regulatory compliance .

Mr.Isah Suleiman the General Manager Market, Competition, and Rate while speaking on behalf of the Chairman/CEO KERC Engr. Ibrahim S Abdulwaaris emphasized that the gathering is a crucial platform for open dialogue, awareness creation, and collective problem -solving .

Mallam Suleiman intimated the stakeholders that the main objective of the engagement is to sensitize electricity
consumers, clarify regulatory expectations and also provide direct channel for consumers to express challenges and receive accurate guidance.

Professor Abdulraham A. Salawu ( Vice Chancellor CUSTECH Osara, who spoke on behalf of the attendees appreciated the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo for the establishment of a Regulatory Commission to oversee the electricity market in the State.

Mr Dominic Arudi the Area Manager Kogi Electricity Distribution Limited Okene, Kogi State praised the Chairman/CEO KERC Engr. Ibrahim S Abdulwaaris for initiating the idea of creating awareness about the Commission in all the Senatorial District of the State
