… As Party Makes Crucial Decisions After Court Ruling.
The Peoples Democratic Party, yesterday held it National Executive Council Meeting in Abuja, with the Kogi State Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo in attendance.
The NEC meeting of the PDP is the first coming after the court ruling that affirmed the Caretaker Chairman, of Hon. Abdulrahman Muhammed.
The Kogi State PDP Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo while briefing Newsmen in Lokoja, described the meeting as one that came with a far reaching decisions that will reposition the PDP for victory.
Hon. Gambo said with the judgement that affirmed Abdulrahman Muhammed as Caretaker Chairman, said the time for personal interest to be sacrificed for the collective interest of the Party is now.
He described PDP as the leading opposition Party, said having ruled the country for several years, has all it takes to reposition the country for prosperity.
Hon. Gambo, particularly called on PDP members in Kogi State to come together and build a strong and indivisible Party.
He appealed to the members to sheath their swords, pointing out that the ruling and constitution is supreme.
He praised the Hon. Abdulrahman Muhammed led leadership, insisting that he has shown capacity to move the Party forward.
He said the law requires the PDP to hold NEC meeting, said now the PDP has a platform to return to power in 2027, assured that very soon Nigerians will return to it path of prosperity.
