Sixty four Staff of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, have been honoured with meritorious services award for their unwavering support throughout his tenure.
The Rector, Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo disclosed that the exemplary contributions of the Staff, a major ingredients led to the success of his administration.
Prof. Ogbo praised the staff for their extraordinary commitment, describing them as the “pillar of strength” and “unsung heroes” behind his success.
The Rector lauded their dedication, drive, selfless commitment, and talent, which he said was “unprecedented”.
The Rector noted that the staff innovations, team play and results-oriented support were exceptional, making them change agents in his administration.
The Rector specifically thanked drivers, security personnel, messengers, cleaners, management members, and academic board members for their support.
The award recipients also included principal officers, as well as the late Barr. William Ameh, who was honoured posthumously.
Prof. Ogbo praised the staff for helping him make quality decisions, stated that he enjoyed tremendous support from their services throughout his tenure.
Recall that professor Ogbo Usman was appointed Rector of the state own polytechnic in Lokoja in 2020 and recently appointed Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba.
