An oil and gas magnate , Isaka Usman of Atayi Petroleum has advocated charity and free givings as a tonic for growing sustainable wealth.
Isaka Usman made the advocacy in Lokoja on Saturday while fielding questions from Treasuretimes news blog.
Isiake Usman popularly known as Oil Money, who hails from Olowa in Dekina Local Government Area of kogi state, said, the only sustainable legacy is one’s ability to help and raise others , saying it has been his cravings from birth to help build multiple destinies who would translate the gestures to others.
He said the greatest asset opened to humanity is the ability to raise multitudes out of poverty.
He added that the only kernel for one to be rich is to be a giver, as the word of God says a giver will never lack.
He noted that he kept this principle of givings from his childhood and it has never failed , hinting that the secret of his success is ability to freely give to those in need irrespective of the creed, origin and circumstances of birth.
He said , from a humble beginning of Okada rider in Lokoja, God saw his heart and linked him up with his destiny helper, late Senate president Dr. Chuba Okadigbo who paved way for him in the oil and gas industry subsector of the economy.
He pointed out that to succeed is not essentially hard work but by the grace of God who will use human factor for the change of stories
He disclosed that his formative years were laden with ups and downs , until God brought his destiny helpers to raise him to where he is today, adding that no one succeeds without the help of others.
He challenge the youths to have confidence in themselves and embrace hardwork , high morals and integrity as a pathways for successful progression in life
He charged them to churn crimes, criminality and adopt the values that define the Igala people in order to enjoy the benefits of their labour.
He called on the people to exhibit patience, tolerance, and demonstrate high values of their cultures, stressing that observance of ones culture is a determination to the level of one’s success .
He opined that , from his birth, he has never dreamt to be like anybody but to be himself , noting that his faith in God who can do all things, has worked for him, transforming him from one level to the other in the space of time.
He said as the kogi state enters another election cycle, the people should consider themselves as one people despite difference in tongues , saying the people of kogi state are one and the same and should not allowed politics to divide them.
The Oil Money warned against envy and jealousy, while advising for brotherhood and to keep hope alive untill one’s day dawn arrived.
He advised that when the winner emerged , let others join hands with him to build kogi state of our dreams , stressing that power is giving by God and to whom he wish per time
He solicited the support of his Igala brethren to shun politics of hatred and bickerings, ad having common goals would bring fast development to kogi East.
While warning against those who will cause mayhem in the zone to desist, said, election is not a do or die affairs that will warrant shedding of blood.
He called on the people of kogi East to remain tenaciously with their customs and traditions which is the rule of rights and don’t in order to receive the blessings of God.
He charged the people not to forget the people they were together at their starting point because they have arrived at their so called destination, saying the top could crumble anytime and you will be left stranded.
He solicited for the rich to share their resources with those who don’t have, saying it is by so doing that resources will be multiplied.
He reminded about the transiency of life as what one does while alive , he will be remembered for, appealing for the cultivation of the culture of givings and helping others to grow.
