The Member Representing Omala State Constituency, Hon. Umar Yahaya (Connect), has congratulated the people of Kogi State on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the creation of Kogi State.
In a statement personally signed by Hon. Umar Yahaya, described the milestone as a celebration of 35 years of unity, resilience and progress, commending the people of Kogi for their enduring contributions to the growth and development of the state.
He reaffirmed his commitment to purposeful representation, inclusive development and initiatives that positively impact the lives of the people of Omala and Kogi State at large.
The lawmaker also urged the good people of Omala to continue giving their maximum support, loyalty and cooperation to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing their leadership as important to the continued progress and development of the state and nation.
“Kogi at 35 is a testament to our collective resilience, unity and determination to build a greater future. As we celebrate this milestone, I call on our people to remain united, peaceful and steadfast in supporting leaders committed to the development of our state and country.”
Hon. Umar further called on Omalites to continue supporting government efforts while promoting peace, unity and development across the local government and the state.
