Former Envoy, Amb. Isaac Onuh Hails Gov. Ododo’s Tribunal Win

Former Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Botswana, His Excellency, Amb. Isaac Onuh, has warmly congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, on his resounding victory at the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal. The tribunal, sitting in Abuja, upheld Ododo’s election today, dismissing the petitions filed by opposition parties challenging the results.
In a statement issued to the Press immediately after the tribunal’s ruling, Amb. Onuh, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a political heavyweight, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the governor. He hailed the tribunal’s decision as a triumph of democracy and a validation of the people’s mandate.
“I heartily felicitate with His Excellency, Governor Usman Ododo, on this hard-fought legal victory,” Amb. Onuh stated. “The judiciary has once again demonstrated its impartiality and commitment to upholding the sanctity of the electoral process. The tribunal’s judgement is a resounding affirmation of the will of the good people of Kogi State, who overwhelmingly voted for the governor’s re-election.”
The former ambassador who praised the judiciary for its impartiality and upholding the principles of democracy, urged all parties to respect the tribunal’s decision and rally behind the governor for the greater good of Kogi State.
Amb. Onuh commended Governor Ododo’s leadership, stating that the governor’s achievements in his few months in office have positively impacted the lives of Kogites. He also urged Governor Ododo to remain focused on delivering on his campaign promises and providing good governance for the people of Kogi State.
As news of the tribunal’s ruling spreads, jubilant supporters of Governor Ododo and the APC have taken to the streets in celebration, expressing their gratitude to the judiciary and reaffirming their unwavering support for the governor’s administration.
